Students of the week
Our Academic Students of the Week come from Kindergarten, and they are Charlotte Knedler of Ms. Scholl's class, Titus McKinney of Mrs. Hansen's class, Bodey Sturtz of Mrs. Ritchey's class, and Brooks Ritchey of Mrs. Bertrand's class.
Charlotte is an academic rockstar! Charlotte counts to 100 by both ones and tens. She can write numbers all the way to 140! Charlotte is reading CVC words and simple stories. She also knows several sight word lists. Charlotte is always a kind friend to others, she is quick to share and offer to help. She takes great pride in her work.I have really enjoyed having Charlotte Knedler in my classroom!
Titus was new to our district in January, and has grown so much since he started.  Titus loves playing with his friends at recess and being around his friends.  Titus has mastered multiple kindergarten standards so far this year; letter recognition, letters sounds per minute, sight word, counting, word segmenting, and many more.  Titus, we love having you in our class.  Keep up all your hard work!!
Bodey has worked really hard all year in Math and being able to count to 100. He reached that goal this month! He also knows all of his numbers! Bodey continues to work hard on his sight words, reading, and writing every day. Keep up the great work Bodey!
Brooks has been working hard on his sight words and  now knows 40 words!  He remembers writing rules when he makes a sentence and uses his invented spelling.  Brooks has also been getting quicker on his letter sound fluency and has past the spring goal with 48 sounds.  Keep up the great work, Brooks!
