JDRF Awareness Campaign

Hello Roadrunner Families,

To end the 2020-21 school year, our school is going to be creating an awareness campaign for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This year we will be supporting two of our Type 1 Roadrunners, Sydney Galivan and Raegan Derscheid.  In order to create a successful campaign, we have several activities lined up for all students (PK-12) to take part in.  These awareness activities are outlined below:

  • Classroom “Coin Wars”: From May 10th to May 21st, every classroom will have a container for donations.  Students are encouraged to bring in spare change to donate to the fund if they so choose.

  • School Walk for Awareness: On Wednesday, May 19th all PK-12 students will walk around the track to promote awareness for JDRF.  Masks and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

  • JDRF T-Shirts: Students have the opportunity to purchase a JDRF shirt through the school.  Order forms will be sent home on Monday, April 19 or you can order through the link. Roadrunner JDRF Store

  • We look forward to raising awareness for a fantastic cause!  Thank you for your time and consideration.
