All I-35 families are welcome to attend our 4th FAMILY STEM NIGHT! This is a FREE event for all members of your family- please note that children/youth must come with an adult. Come hungry as dinner will be provided by American State Bank. Families will read a book and do a STEM activity that is centered around the theme for the night. Come and enjoy a fun, worry-free night as a family! Please sign up through the Google Form link or scan the barcode on the flyer. Due to the snow day, Monday’s book fair has been canceled. Shopping hours will remain the same Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings 7:45-8:15am and Thursday 4-8pm. Additional shopping hours will be added Tuesday and Wednesday 3:00-6:30pm.

We are planning a few activities to support our Winterset neighbors after their devastating tornado this past weekend. Wednesday, March 9, will be Winterset Strong Day at I-35! Show your support for Winterset by wearing Winterset colors. We will host Penny Wars this week on Wednesday and Thursday to raise funds for the Winterset community. On Thursday night, we will hold a Food Drive (baby/kid supplies being requested) community-wide; items can be donated on Thursday between 2-8 p.m. in the high school commons. Thank you all for your support! This is absolutely one of the very best things about living in a small community.

With the snow day today, there will NOT be Parent-Teacher conferences tonight. We will only have conferences on Thursday from 4-8. Elementary parents - if your conference was scheduled for tonight, your child’s teacher will be contacting you to reschedule your conference - either to Thursday, virtual, or to another agreed upon day.
Middle and high school parents if your schedule does not work to meet with teachers on Thursday, please contact the teacher or teachers you wish to meet with. They can schedule an in person or virtual meeting on an agreed upon date.
Tonight's school board meeting will go on as scheduled at 6:00pm.
Interstate 35 Schools are closed today, Monday March 7th.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are right around the corner (Monday, March 7 and Thursday, March 10) and are a great way to partner with your child's teacher. Make sure to schedule a time to stop by and learn more about what your child is learning!
