Parent Teacher Conferences are right around the corner - Nov. 7 and Nov. 10th , and that also means the Scholastic Book Fair will be here too! The Book Fair will be open before school from 7:45-8:10 am Monday-Thursday, and then again from 4-8 pm during Conferences!

Today, Interstate 35 students had a very special guest - Kansas City Chief's mascot KC Wolf (also known as Dan Meer)! KC shared some insights into what it takes to be a mascot and how important it is to be a good character! Thank you, KC Wolf!

Come cheer on the high school boys as they participate in the National Honor Society's annual Ironman Volleyball Tournament on Wednesday, November 2 at 6:00 pm in the high school gym. Any high school girl interested in coaching or any boys interested in participating may sign up with Tiffany in the office by October 25.
Today's Biology classes had some hands-on learning as they built model DNA strands using pipe-cleaners and beads. Keep on the lookout - the students' homework for the weekend is to snap at least 2 photos of themselves and their DNA strands! Learning and smiles!
