Winter Athletics and Activities Covid-19 Guidelines (updated 12/11/20)
All high school sports and activities are subject to increased regulations until further notice. The following guidelines were adopted by the WCAC and will be in effect at all I-35 high school events
- Admissions:
- All WCAC schools will be allowing 2 spectators per participant. Participant rosters will be at each home team’s admission table for the spectators to sign-in.
- Gyms will be cleared after each level of competition
- Please do not gather at the door waiting for entrance to the next event. Spectators are asked to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before the scheduled game time.
- The high school commons will be open to ensure social distancing before entering the contest.
- All spectators, including students, have to be on the admission list to attend.
- Personal Protective Equipment:
- Face Coverings for spectators are required while in the building.
- Spectators who are not wearing masks will be required to leave.
- Seating:
- Fans will be required to social distance. Each school will designate restricted seating with tape in their respective bleacher area(s).
- Concessions:
- We will not have concession stands until further notice.
- Spectators are required to:
- Accept personal responsibility for following public health guidelines.
- Practice safe social distancing (limit groups to single household (s).
- Be patient and use common sense.
- Abide by posted signage.
- Stay home if you show symptoms or if you have been in contact with someone with a confirmed positive case of Covid-19 in the last 14 days.
