Congratulations to Grace Knedler and Michael McClelland for being accepted into and performing with the Cyclone Honor Band! Around 500 students were nominated and less than half were selected to represent their schools and perform in a concert in Stephens Auditorium located on the Iowa State Campus in Ames. They performed six challenging pieces of music in an hour-long concert after only two days of rehearsals! It was a fantastic event with amazing educators. Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Coleman for waking up early to get Mr. McKinney to the school Friday morning (he had car troubles).

Mrs. Coleman's Middle School choir members did an escape room on Thursday for a team-building activity. Four teams escaped within 20 minutes! Great teamwork, Roadrunners!
It was incredibly fun to watch I35 families come together for STEM night. This free event included a meal, STEM based activities and social time. Please give a huge shout out to our working volunteers, as well as all of the businesses who donated money and/or food to make it all possible.

Due to the deteriorating road conditions, I-35 is now closed for today, Tuesday, January 23. Daycare is open today.
We will be running a 2 hour delay today, Tuesday, January 23.
Don't forget to sign up for STEM night by this WEDNESDAY for a fun filled evening next Monday, January 29th! We are finalizing plans for an exciting evening for families to come together for food, social and STEM! We want to thank businesses who have already graciously given food, supplies or money to provide a highly rewarding evening for our I35 community.
