Today 6th grade students shared their Science Fair projects at the 6th Grade Science Fair! There were a lot of great projects that reflected several weeks worth of hard work. Well done, 6th Grade!

Ms. Grant's WIN group did an amazing job raising money for some pretty great causes! The first group of boys were able to put on a hat day to raise 122.00 for Kiya Koda. Our second group of boys was able to raise 176.00 from Bingo to go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Finally our girls raised 360.00 from their movie night. All money raised went to creating blankets for children in local hospitals. They have been working hard these past few weeks putting the blankets together! We're very proud of all the group's hard work and giving spirit!

The Interstate 35 High School Concert Band travelled to Roland-Story City High School on Saturday to participate in the IHSMA Large Group Contest. 2A Bands from across the state performed in front of a panel of 3 judges to earn a Division Rating of 1 through 5, with 1 being the best. We earned a Division 2 in our first time at Large Group in many years, matching the rating achieved by bands more than twice our size! And we were only 2 points off of a Division 1! Congratulations to the High School Band on a successful concert season!
