Kindergarten students practiced their cutting skills by cutting out all the flowers and raindrops for a couple of the district office doors

Middle School Earth Day activities included student council picking up trash around the campus and city park. 7/8 grade distributed prairie seed today at the school prairie. The prairie seed was purchased with a grant totaling $2987 from the Environmental Issues Instruction (eii) Program at Upper Iowa University. Mrs. Meggers was a teacher leader for the program.




The 93rd State FFA Convention was held this week. We had students able to attend in person and also virtually. Hanna Bedwell received a Gold rating and a First place award for her Chapter Website.
The Chapter Display received a Silver Rating (Members that created it: Lanie Peterson, Faith Stephens, Hanna Bedwell, Macy Nelson and Alison Young)

Helping Hand in Indianola has been able to secure 100 food boxes for free to any I-35 community members. The food box contains dairy products such as a gallon of milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, block of cheddar cheese and butter, 2 packages of meat, and 3 pounds of apples, oranges, potatoes, and onions. The boxes can be picked up on Wednesday, April 21, from 3pm-4pm (or until boxes are gone) at the west end of the CTE building. Please come grab a box!
